Sunrise Brings HYPE to Solana as a Native Asset
Sunrise now enables HYPE, the native token of Hyperliquid, to trade natively across the Solana ecosystem. With HYPE accessible on Solana, users can interact with HYPE directly through Solana wallets, DEXs, and DeFi apps—without leaving the Solana network.
HYPE is not a new token, of course. It is a well-established asset with an active user base and deep market history. Its availability on Solana underscores an important point: Sunrise is not limited to day-one launches or pre-TGE assets; Sunrise will also bring established, high-signal assets to Solana as native and liquid markets.
Through Sunrise, Solana users can access HYPE directly across wallets, DEXs, and DeFi applications, trading against SOL, USDC, and other Solana assets without leaving the network. HYPE will function like any other native Solana asset and fully integrated across the Solana DeFi stack.
This milestone complements earlier Sunrise launches such as MON and LIT, which demonstrated how new assets can arrive on Solana with liquidity from day one. HYPE illustrates the other half of Solana's Internet Capital Markets thesis: important assets do not lose relevance based on where or when they originated. What matters is that they can trade openly, efficiently, and liquidly on a unified blockchain-based settlement layer.
